What FIAI membership means
Certified by examination
All member technicians must have a certificate of competence issued by the FIAI following an examination. The examination is based on the requirements of the existing standards.
We wrote the first standard
We developed and adopted an original code of practise that became the first standard IS291:1986.
Fifty five years of it
Established in 1971 the FIAI have always attempted to protect and enhance the standards and quality of work available to the consumer, and to ensure that member companies train competent technicians.
